BHP’s agenda to install a massive Liquefied Natural Gas terminal off the coast of Malibu and Oxnard has finally been rejected. A very special “thank you” should be expressed to Susan Jordan of the California Coastal Protection Network for all the time and effort she has dedicated to achieve this outstanding result, which was concluded when the governor finally issued his veto. CCPN has been working on the LNG matter for more than three years.
Special thanks should be expressed to Keely and Pierce Brosnan as well as to the Environmental Defense Center. It was primarily due to the efforts of these folks that we were able to prevail. I would like to express my special thanks to all those who have contributed and been involved in this wonderful outcome.
