Malibu resident Everette Plen was the reader for the Alvin Ho books-on-tape series by children’s author Lenore Look. For his performance, Plen has received the Gold Parents Choice Award for excellence.
The titles of the books and audio books are “Allergic To Girls, School, and Other Scary Things,” and “Allergic to Camping, Hiking, and Other Natural Disasters.” Plen will soon record the third book in the series.
Plen is an actor and sixth grade student at Malibu High School. He has appeared on The Disney Channel and in various commercials, and has also done voice-over work.
