Officials with the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff station are asking the public for help identifying two attempted burglary suspects caught on surveillance video breaking a Chase ATM in the Malibu Country Mart.
Sheriffs responded to the scene of an attempted burglary on Monday, Jan. 19, after a maintenance employee reported the machine being broken upon arrival.
“The suspects attempted to gain entry into the ATM by prying on the door, but were unsuccessful,” Det. Tom Lewis said.
According to an incident report, two men used an object to partially open the ATM located at 3835 Cross Creek Road sometime between 10 a.m. on Jan. 12 and 7 a.m. on Jan. 19.
