The Malibu Jewish Center & Synagogue celebrated Purim this weekend with a carnival attracting kids of all ages.

The Festival of Purim, which celebrates the survival of the Jewish People, includes feasting and celebrations, with most modern observations including costumes, singing, dancing and a carnival.

This year’s celebration, held on Sunday, Feb. 25, involved carnival booths, musical acts and special presentations from Cantor Marcelo Gindlin and Rabbi Michael Schwartz.
