ISLAND GIRL

The bold! The beautiful! The diva and The Donald! They all came together at a private estate in Bel Air as Donald Trump hosted a far out and fabulous end-of-the-summer fling. New mom Christina Aguilera headlined the evening, impressing all with her insane eight-octave range. There couldn’t have been a more harmonious way to celebrate the new Trump International Tower in Dubai. Construction on the 62-story luxury hotel and residential tower began on June 23. The haute hot-spot, located on the man-made island Palm Jumeirah, is expected to open its doors in 2011.

A posh hotel deserves a posh party. And this one was a family affair with all of The Donald’s older kids in attendance. Daughter Ivanka looked super chic in a black, sequined peek-a-boo dress. She joined bro Donald Junior as well as an all grown-up Tiffany, whose mom is Marla Maples. A-listers went all-out on the fashion front. Ali Larter made sure her style statement was true blue, floating down the red carpet in a turquoise strapless chiffon gown. Aaron Eckhart was still basking in the glow of the summer’s biggest flick. “The Dark Knight” star opted for black on black, a look also sported by Orlando Bloom. Hayden Panettiere went wild in cheetah print, while Lucy Liu donned a ’40s-inspired frock. Kate Walsh was ready to celebrate fall with her chocolate brown cocktail attire, and guest DJ Pete Wentz was every inch the Hollywood hipster in his bright red skinny jeans and bright, skinny red tie.

Famous local faces like Adrian Grenier spent the evening rubbing elbows with the likes music mogul P. Diddy Combs, hockey great Wayne Gretzky and Oscar winner Hilary Swank, who just flew in from South Africa after wrapping her upcoming epic “Amelia Earhart.” Business barons, VIPs and party performers made for an eclectic crowd, with everyone from elaborately costumed stilt walkers to his Excellency Sultan Ahmen bid Sulayem making the rounds.

When they weren’t checking out the estate’s impressive 3.5-acre grounds, guests got a good look at what’s doing in Dubai. A large-scale model of Trump’s new tower was also on display.

After celeb chef Wolfgang Puck pleased the tony troops with his magnificent morsels, revelers made their way into a custom built, 80-foot tent for the evening’s performance. Christina wowed the crowd with a selection of hits like “Lady Marmalade,” “Beautiful” and “At Last.”

Leave it up to The Donald to make sure summer of ’08 goes out sounding great!
