Community activist and Pepperdine Professor Emeritus Mike Jordan has had two historical novels and a romantic comedy publish this month.
Jordan’s books, “Crockett’s Coin,” “The Freedom Song” and “Your Heart of Gold,” were released on Sept. 1, the same day his website, mikejordanbooks.com, launched.
“Three years ago I became professor emeritus at Pepperdine for the specific purpose of pursuing this passion, writing these novels,” Jordan said in a statement. “So yes, this is a very exciting time for me.”
Jordan is an award-winning journalism and media law professor at Pepperdine, as well as a former Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District Board Member.
