On Tuesday, Oct. 12, at approximately 3 p.m., I was riding my bicycle (red Cannondale) north on PCH. As I was crossing the intersection at Corral Canyon, a dark blue Chevy Tahoe, southbound on PCH, turned left into Corral Canyon striking me on my bike. Several concerned and thoughtful witnesses were present, including a woman pulling out of Corral Canyon onto PCH. Unfortunately I was taken to the emergency room before I could think to obtain names of witnesses. If you were there and saw the accident, I would appreciate your observations. As a cyclist who rides thousands of miles a year on PCH and a driver who also travels PCH by car, I urge both cyclists and drivers to respect each other and share the road.
