The Freedom Road Youth will host a screening of the documentary “Girl Rising,” a movie about human trafficking on Friday, May 23. Following the screening, Jacky Tomlinson will speak about her work with Vday, an organization founded by Eve Ensler that travels around the world to trafficking hotspots, looking for ways to help end the violence.
Freedom Road Youth is a group formed by four Malibu High School students—Ally Mastrippolito, Natalie Aldrich, Sakura Smith and Eden Ettenger—who were inspired to form the group after volunteering at Freedom Road Project’s End Trafficking Day.
