Numerous volunteers, including Malibu residents of all ages, participated in “Big Sunday,” one of the largest citywide community service events in America.
The event was held Sunday at the Boys & Girls Club of Malibu Teen Center, and included a variety of projects serving a wide range of organizations. In addition to the Boys & Girls Club, Malibu Methodist United Church, Malibu Jewish Center & Synagogue, Point Dume Elementary, Juan Cabrillo Elementary, Malibu High School, Our Lady of Malibu, School on Wheels, Operation Gratitude, Lion’s Club International, Cornucopia Foundation, and Best Buddies also participated.
