The Malibu chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution met for their annual colonial cooking event recently. The women cooked for three days to recreate dishes from the 1600s in America. To make the dishes they used original recipes printed in the 1796 cookbook “American Cookery” by Amelia Simmons.
