The Malibu Township Council is sponsoring a Candidate Forum on Saturday, March 27, in the Webster School auditorium, starting promptly at 10 a.m. and ending at 1 p.m. MTC has sponsored Candidate Forums for all the City of Malibu elections, and invites all Malibu residents and registered voters to attend this latest one for the upcoming April 13 election to filI three seats on the Malibu City Council.
The MTC Forum is an opportunity to hear the candidates’ unrehearsed responses to questions about current community issues. Responses that indicate their positions on how, if elected, they would resolve these issues and guide the future of Malibu. Responses that provide information the Malibu voter will find valuable for deciding which candidates qualify for his/her vote.
The City Council that results from this election could very well be that one which establishes the final character and appearance of this city, and a large turnout of voters is the best way to elect a council that represents the interest of a communitywide majority of the residents. Attend the MTC Forum on March 27. Resolve to vote on April 13.
