From a Shakespearean shindig to festivals galore, there’s something for everyone happening this weekend.

The Reduced Shakespeare Company, a three-man comedy troupe, performs “All the Great Books (Abridged)” this Friday at Pepperdine University’s Smothers Theatre, 24255 PCH, at 8 p.m. Tickets cost between $20-$40. More information can be obtained by calling 310.506.4522.

Malibu Hardware & Supply hosts its grand opening celebration Saturday. The event will feature lectures on organic gardening by “tomato guru” Steve Goto, who will teach the audience the ins and outs of growing winter vegetables. Food and drinks will also be available to attendants, including one dollar tacos. Dig in to the 22nd annual Malibu Pie Festival his Saturday. Malibu’s inland neighbor celebrates the season Saturday and Sunday with the Calabasas Pumpkin Festival. The autumnal event features live music, carnival games, crafts, contests, food and drinks, and lots of pumpkins.
