When Frank Page was killed in a car crash last week, Malibu’s soccer community suffered a deep loss. As well as being a passionate and knowledgeable coach for the high school and various Malibu adult teams, Frank was a wonderful guy with a great sense of humor and a heart of gold. Speaking for all his teamates, we will miss him deeply both on and off the field.
I assume heaven has a pretty decent soccer team, and it will now be all the better for its new coach and goalie. Meanwhile, back down here, we will remember him fondly every time we play.
