From “Beauty and the Beast” to art exhibits, there’s plenty going on in Malibu this weekend.

On Friday, the Once Upon a Time Children’s Theater presents “Beauty and the Beast,” March 23, 24, 30 and 31 at 5 p.m. and March 24, 25, 31 and April 1 at 1 p.m., at the Malibu Stage Co., 29243 PCH. $20.

On Friday evening, vocalists Liz Calloway and Ann Hampton Calloway star in “BOOM!,” a tribute to the baby boom generation, at Pepperdine University’s Smothers Theatre 24255 PCH, at 8 p.m.$25-$45.

Saturday features a wide range of family-friendly events, including Family Art day at Pepperdine and a Spring Sunset Ceremony at Malibu Chumash Village.

Malibu High School hosts a series of parties and events between March 24-30 to raise funds for Malibu Middle and High School, at locations
