Am I the only one wondering what the heck is going on with non-profits in Malibu that are supposed to be working to protect the public right to get to the beach and working to protect fragile environmental sensitive habitat areas.
The Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy making a deal to refrain from being involved or commenting on The Edge’s (David Evans of U2) huge development project in exchange for a $1,000,000 donation should the project not get the go-ahead.
Access For All agreeing to try to extinguish or terminate the Ackerberg easement for a donation of $250,000 when the right thing is for Lisette Ackerberg to take responsibility (after 26 years) to clear the way for a public walkway along the side of her property to Carbon Beach!
