After reading Robert Adler’s letter, it occurred to me that not long ago the City Council was sued for Brown Act violations and one council member was publicly scolded by the judge. So why didn’t City Council fire each other? I was also shocked to read the article about Mayor Kearsley’s ill-advised letter to the major of San Diego. Is this council corrupt or simply inept? Either way, we need new blood, or at least someone willing to let uninterested or uncompromised parties examine what is going on in City Hall. With the upcoming election, it is time to take a hard look at this City Council.
