The sound of excited children once again filled the grounds at Our Lady of Malibu School as classes resumed last week. Students from kindergarten through eighth grade donned their school uniforms, greeted old friends and were introduced to new. OLM is one of the last Malibu elementary/middle schools to begin classes for the 2016-17 school year. Principal Michael Smith said he was glad to see the children back on campus for the new school year.

“It was good to see all the kids — returning students and new students alike,” Smith said. “With the entire faculty from last year returning, I am looking forward to a great year for our students and families.”
