Great opportunity

In light of all the hard work that grassroots supporters are doing to get the word out on Measure M, we owe them the courtesy of taking an honest look at what the ballot measure offer. The new Development Agreement permits only 100,000 square feet on all the Bay Company’s property downtown which is smaller than they have at Ralphs and a lot less than will be built without Measure M. Where are these wildly exaggerated numbers of one million and hundreds and hundreds of thousands of square feet coming from? Certainty they do not appear in the Agreement voters are being asked to approve.

Let’s get the facts straight and embrace this phenomenai opportunity for what it is, the chance to pull our community together and turn our beloved Chili Cook-Off into Malibu’s Central Park. Measure M is the vehicle we have been waiting for to clean Malibu Creek and Surfrider Beach, get a free community center, receive millions for our Urgent Care center and ballfields and get less development.
