Five-time Grammy nominated artist Kid Rock has put his Malibu home on the market for $13.5 million.
Rock’s Bali-inspired, 8,500 square-foot retreat sits on 1.54 acres of land in a secluded part of Malibu’s Point Dume. It features five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a pool and a guest house, according to Real Estalker.
The home combines indoor and outdoor living with carved wood front doors leading into a formal living room that also doubles as a screening room, along with a grand piano in the living area set in front of a wall of floor-to-ceiling windows. Rock’s master suite includes a spa-style bathroom and a bedroom with a sitting area that opens up onto the patio.
Rock bought the home in October 2006 for $11.6 million. Although it is unclear where he will live once he sells the home, Rock has an abundance of private properties including a waterfront mansion in Detroit, an oceanfront home in Jupiter Inlet Colony Florida and a town-house styled condo in Nashville Tennessee.
