In last week’s “Meet the Board of Education Candidates” piece on Oscar de la Torre, he wrote that he has met with me “to discuss the future of our partnership to strengthen public schools in Malibu.”
I would like to set the record straight that I have not been approached by Mr. de la Torre nor met with him to discuss this partnership nor anything else relating to Malibu.
However, I have met with others on the School Board, notably Barry Snell, Ralph Mechur and Ben Allen on a number of occasions to discuss Malibu concerns.
