A beach hazard statement has been issued for Malibu until Saturday 8 a.m.

With surf between 4 and 6 feet, maximum sets could be as high as 8 feet through Saturday morning across west facing beaches while a high risk of rip tide to exposed beaches is also possible according to forecasters.

Friday predicts to have partly cloudy skies along with highs of 64 degrees and lows of 59 degrees while Saturday skies should clear up for a sunny day.

Wind speeds on Saturday may reach highs of 11 MPH with humidity percentages between 50 and 70 percent and temperatures in the mid 60’s.

Residents can expect the same temperatures Sunday as they did Saturday, however, winds will drop to about 7 MPH according to forecasters.

Don’t forget that Sunday is daylight savings time so make sure to set your clocks forward an hour.
