After reading Jonathon Friedman’s MBC article in last week’s paper, I was most surprised to discover that not only was I a “community activist,” but that I also ran Jeff Jenning’s election campaign in 2000. While I plead guilty to the community activist label (raising a toddler has temporarily slowed me down in that department), I should point out that I ran the successful 2000 election campaign for Joan House, not for Jeff Jennings and, therefore, credit for his re-election belongs to others and not to me.
However, it is definitely correct that I wholeheartedly support Measure M and believe it to be the best choice for Malibu, and hope that voters can see their way through the fog of misinformation from a well-financed opposition movement and vote for Measure M on election day.
