Malibu High kept its record-setting season rolling Wednesday with a 5-3 victory over Santa Paula High School, making the team 19-3 on the season and 9-1 in league play. 

Junior standout Chase Lambert delivered at the plate and from the pitching mound, going 3-4 with two doubles and scoring two runs and picking up his eighth save of the year with four strikeouts in two scoreless innings of closing work.

Another junior star, Noah Simon (8-1), pitched five innings for his eighth win of the year.

Sophomore outfielder Bronson Bard had two hits, a double and two runs batted in.

Next up, the Sharks look to extend a five-game win streak in a home game Friday against Santa Paula at 3:30 p.m.
