Malibu resident Stone Gettings was recently nominated to play in the McDonald’s All- American High School Basketball game. Gettings is currently a senior at Loyola High School and captain of the varsity basketball team. At 6’8”, Gettings plays the power forward position, averaging 14 points and 11 rebounds per game. His field goal percentage is 53% and his free throw percentage is 77%.
Gettings received the All- Tournament Award at the Beverly Hills High School Basketball Tournament last December. He has committed to play basketball at Cornell University in the fall.
