Retired Pepperdine University volleyball coach Nina Matthies will be inducted into the American Volleyball Coaches Association Hall of Fame. Matthies coached 31 seasons of women’s indoor volleyball at Pepperdine (1983-2013), with 11 West Coast Conference (WCC) titles and 20 NCAA Tournament appearances, before retiring in 2013 as the WCC’s all-time winningest coach with a 590-343 record.
