Recent Malibu High School graduate Hilary Sturgeon was awarded a $500 scholarship from the Malibu Rotary Club. A regular volunteer at the Malibu Community Labor Exchange (MCLE), Sturgeon was also the student member of the MCLE board and was awarded The Malibu Times Youth Dolphin Award. Sturgeon also volunteered for the nonprofit Made in the Streets in Nairobi, Kenya, and plans to study International Service at Seattle University in Washington.Â
